Terms of Service

PawsHoliday Pty Ltd (ABN: TBC) ("PawsHoliday", "we", "us", "our") operates the platform at pawsholiday.com that connects property hosts with guests seeking pet-friendly accommodation in Australia. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

• Guests must accurately represent the number and types of pets they are bringing to any property.
• Hosts must ensure listed properties genuinely accommodate pets and that all descriptions are accurate.
• Both parties agree to treat each other with respect and to comply with all applicable Australian laws.
• Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring their property is safe and suitable for the pet types they advertise.

PawsHoliday charges guests a service fee of 8% of the booking subtotal. Hosts are charged 2% of the booking subtotal, deducted from their payout. Fees are subject to change with 30 days' notice. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

All booking requests are subject to host confirmation. Cancellation terms are set by individual hosts. PawsHoliday's standard cancellation policy allows guests to receive a full refund minus service fees if cancelled more than 7 days before check-in. See our Refund Policy for full details.

PawsHoliday acts as a marketplace and is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss arising from a guest's stay, including damage caused by pets. Hosts accept full responsibility for the safety and suitability of their property. We strongly recommend hosts obtain appropriate insurance.

• Creating false or misleading listings or reviews
• Circumventing the platform to transact directly with another user
• Posting listings for properties where pets are not genuinely welcome
• Harassment or abusive conduct toward other users

All content on this platform, including text, images, and code, is owned by PawsHoliday or its licensors. You grant PawsHoliday a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display photos you upload to your listing.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
